YOUNG athletes across the district converged on Warrnambool last weekend for the Western Country Region relay carnival.
Brauerander Park came alive with a large group of athletes and spectators on Sunday, with some great relay racing across multiple age groups, from under 9 through to under 17.
The 2023 Region Relay Carnivals took place across seven locations last weekend, serving as a qualifying event for the state championships.
