COBDEN’S hopes of a reserves premiership flag were dashed last weekend, with the Bombers going down to Koroit by 14 points.

The Bombers found themselves 14 points down at the half-time break, a gap they were unable to bridge in the final half, with the scores ending on 6.11.47 to 4.9.33.

Best players were Brady Green, Bradley Gillingham, Luke Pekin, Mitch Reed, Gryff Dwyer and Sam Darcy.

Goal scorers for the Bombers were Johno Benallack, Brenton Flemming and Michael Koroneos.
