CAMPERDOWN and district motorists have been urged to be patient on the Princes Highway with works in the area.

CAMPERDOWN and district motorists have been urged to be patient on the Princes Highway with works in the area.
Department of Transport regional director (Barwon South West Michael Tudball said over the coming weeks road crews would be grading a number of shoulders between Camperdown and Terang.
“We’re improving the surface of the Princes Highway via shoulder grading works to different sections of the road between Camperdown and Terang,” he said.
“The work involves removing built up materials on road shoulders, that will allow for water to drain better – making it safer for all road users particularly on a wet surface.”
By completing the work along the Princes Highway, it will decrease deterioration and improve the lifespan of the road.
Partial lane closures and a 40km/h speed limit will be in place with delays expected.
