WHERE is the Green Sheep?
Local youngsters will soon know the answer thanks to a Cobden Rotary Club initiative.
Club member Gary Kimber said the group had undertaken a “wonderful literacy project”.
“We will be presenting each kinder child in Timboon, Cobden and Simpson with a copy of the Mem Fox classic “Where is the Green Sheep?,” he said.
“The Timboon kids were very excited upon receiving their books from myself and fellow Rotarian Lesley Brown.”
Mr Kimber said the project was sponsored by GreenCon in Cobden.
Manager James Green said he was delighted to be part of the project and to “see kids happy and reading”.
