Second race for pigeons

THE Camperdown Pigeon Club held a second race from Streatham last Monday.

The birds were released at 10am in sunny conditions with a slight southerly breeze.

Results:

1st Mark Kavanagh (velocity 1198.74 m/mins); 2nd Rex Perkins (velocity 1102.76m/mins); 3rd G and S McKenzie (velocity 1102.18m/mins).

Thanks to Jamie Shepherd and Eileen McKenzie for trans-porting the birds to Streatham.

The next race will be from Maroona on Sunday (pending suitable weather).
