THE long service of a number of Camperdown State Emergency Service (SES) members has been recognised with an awards presentation.
Unit controller Michael Carman said the presentation was completed at a training session earlier this month.
He said awards were presented to:
• Jared Lenehan, five years;
• Trevor Spokes, 20 years; and
• Peter Willsher, 30 year service award, along with a life membership of the Camperdown SES unit.
Mr Carman congratulated the three members.
“It (the presentation) was well deserved after all the years they have done,” he said.
Mr Carman encouraged any community member interested in joining the unit or find out more to either contact him on 0437 194 216 or send a message via the ‘SES Camperdown’ Facebook Page.
The unit trains each Monday night from 7pm at 4 Bowyer Street, Camperdown.
