TERANG College sisters Lynley and Jackenzie Sharp have performed remarkably well at the recent Athletics Victoria All-Schools Track and Field Championships.

Held at Lakeside Stadium, Albert Park, over two weekends – October 28-29 and November 4 – the event attracted quality athletes from across the state.

Competing in the girls’ under 15 para javelin event, Jackenzie threw a personal best and took out the state title.

She also brought home silver in the girls’ under 15 para discus, bronze in the para 100m dash and finished seventh in the girls under 14 hammer throw.

Lynley competed in three events over the two weekends, finishing 17th in the girls’ 15 year-old triple jump, 10th in the shotput and fourth with a personal best in the hammer throw.
