Timboon’s Jean Clover was one of two major winners in the recent Ritchies IGA birthday celebrations nabbing herself a cool $20,000 cash prize.
“I thought it was a scam when they first called,” she said.
“It was a surprise, a big surprise.”
Mrs Clover, who regularly shops at Timboon Ritchies IGA, said she had three or four entries in the draw.
“Thank you to Ritchies for drawing my name,” she said.
“I have no plans for it yet.”
Ritchies IGA Timboon assistant manager Sarah Pender congratulated Mrs Clover on her win.
“It’s nice it went to a loyal customer,”she said.
“We were very happy for her. A big congratulations to Jean from all of us at Ritchies Timboon.
“We also had a minor prize winner.”
