THE Western District Showjumping Championships returned to Mortlake over the long weekend.

THE Western District Showjumping Championships returned to Mortlake over the long weekend.
The popular equestrian event, conducted by the Caramut Riding Club, draws top riders from across Victoria to Mortlake each year.
A wide range of jumping classes was held across the three-day weekend, with thousands of dollars up for grabs in prize money.
Riders put on a show for the enthusiastic crowd, with results including:
Mt Shadwell Championship results:
1st - Tim Clarke and Kanntango;
2nd - Kristy McSween and Wondaree Spice;
3rd - Kristy McSween and Busy Bee;
4th - Jorja Kirsopp-Cole and Tame the Tiger;
5th - Genna Sordello and Cera Cara Mia;
6th - Gabrielle Robertson and Carousel;
7th - Monique Johnstone and Winterwood Banjo; and
8th - Georgia Hodgetts and Yandoo Pasadena.
John Barclay Junior Championship:
1st - Zara Adnams and Digmac Dicso King;
2nd - Nellie Rogers and Valiant Star;
3rd - Kaylee Stephens and Burnside;
4th - August Tilders and Patangas Kandy Kane;
5th - Lucy Borrack and Beethoven;
6th - Zara Adnams and Tally Ho Primrose;
7th - Maddie Mayne and Ruby Tuesday; and
8th - Sunday Borrack and Get Rhythm.
