Sign concerns
Cobden motorists and visitors to the town and its surrounds are once again faced with toppled signage.

Cobden motorists and visitors to the town and its surrounds are once again faced with toppled signage.
According to a number of business owners (who wish to remain anonymous) the issue has been an ongoing concern.
In recent weeks road signs have been struck in Curdie Street, Camperdown-Cobden Road and Cemetery Road among others.
Last weekend a sign at the roundabout, corner of Curdie and Walker streets, was pushed over and left lying on the nature strip.
Locals believe the damage may have been caused by a motorist, possibly in a vehicle with a bull bar.
“This really is a case of wilful damage,” one resident said.
“It’s a total waste of taxpayers’ money to fix or replace these signs, not to mention the danger this type of behavior poses to pedestrians and other road users.”
