Soccer tournament finishes with a win
TERANG College’s senior soccer team finished last week’s tournament on a high, with a win over Trinity.

TERANG College’s senior soccer team finished last week’s tournament on a high, with a win over Trinity.
The 16-member team headed to Ballarat on Tuesday where it competed against schools from across the region.
While the team was unsuccessful in its first three matches – played against Horsham, Ballarat and Emmanuel, the players’ persistence paid off in the final match of the day.
A goal from Prince in the dying minutes of Terang College’s game against Trinity gave the side a well-deserved victory.
Team coach Mr O’Connor praised all players for their efforts on the day.
“Everyone played really well, with many highlights and moments of brilliance throughout the day,” he said.
The day wasn’t without its dramas – after the second game it was discovered the bus had not one, but two flat tyres.
A quick call from Miss McLennan and the bus (and students) were on the road home.
