'Stella' form continues
STELLA Horspole has continued her award-winning performances in the saddle, taking out the senior show horse section at the recent Equestrian Victoria Interschool State Championships.
STELLA Horspole has continued her award-winning performances in the saddle, taking out the senior show horse section at the recent Equestrian Victoria Interschool State Championships.
The win capped off a huge season for the Camperdown College year 10 student.
Stella and her school were both named state champions at the event.
She competed against riders from several schools across the state vying for one of three spots on the national team.
This win has earnt Stella a spot on the interschool Victoria team which will compete at the nationals in Werribee in October.
“I was proud and honoured to be able to wear my school colours and to compete for Camperdown College,” she said.
With the competition season now complete, Stella and her horses will take a well-earned break before preparing for the Adelaide Royal in August.
