Stella shines at Royal
STELLA Horspole continues to shine in the saddle, with a remarkable performance at last month’s Melbourne Royal Show.
The Camperdown College teen brought home a win in the prestigious K.G Luke equestrian turnout (under 18).
The event is regarded as the ‘junior version’ of the world-renowned Garryowen (Australia’s most prestigious women’s riding event) – an event Stella aspires to one day compete in.
Stella’s win at the Melbourne Royal capped off a successful few weeks, having earlier placed fifth in Australia at the Inter School National’s in Tamworth; where she was the highest placed Victorian in the senior section.
Stella will spend the next few weeks competing at local agricultural shows before heading to Sydney in November to compete at the Australian Nationals (going in as the Victorian state champion, number one representative in her section).
