AFTER a tough year on the field, Timboon’s senior football side finished off strong.

And senior coaches Marcus Hickey and Ben Newey couldn’t be prouder.
“It was a pretty tough year for our playing group but they all showed resilience and just kept at it week after week,” Hickey said.
“They finished off strong, with their first win on the final round. The team showed continued improvement in the back half of the year which was a real positive.”
The Demons’ focus this season was on junior development and with this in mind, seven under 18 players took to the field with the senior football side throughout the year.
“Being able to get some senior games into our juniors was a real bonus this year and that’s very exciting for the future,” Hickey said.
“We would love to thank of all of our sponsors and volunteers who have stood by us week in, week out, this year as the club looks forward to an exciting 2023.”
