The college was well represented at last Friday’s carnival, held at Brauerander Park in Warrnambool.

Fifteen students from years three to six competed during the day, with several earning a spot at the regional event to be held later this year.

Callen was placed first in his age group for the triple jump, long jump and 100 metre events.

Zoe Unwin also performed extremely well, finishing second in triple jump; Noah Boyd finished sixth in the 800m and 1500m events while Phillipa Murphy came fifth in the 100m and sixth in the 200m.

All four students will compete at the regionals.

“It was great to see our students supporting one another when not competing, and behaving so well,” year six sport coordinator Matt Harkin said.

“A huge thanks to Mrs Murphy for assisting on the day and being able to maintain a solid playlist on the bus”.
