Craven drove ‘Roadmaster’ to victory in the Sulky App Metropolitan Pace final over 2240 metres on Saturday night in only the second start for the gelding.

And at last Tuesday night’s harness meet at Terang, success continued for local trainers.

The Lee family had a big night out, with Marg Lee claiming two winners on the night – with Joelita in race two and Keayan Taco in race five, while son Jason took out driver honours with both horses and son Paddy trained a winner with Brownies at midnight victorious in race one.

Clayton Tonkin bought one runner from Ballarat and was rewarded with regally-bred debutant Silver Pistol taking out race four.

Silver Pistol is sired by Group one winning first season stallion Poster Boy out of group one winning mare, Pistol Abbey.

Breeder/owners Lauriston Bloodstock were well rewarded for their efforts, having also bred and owned both Poster Boy and Pistol Abbey.

Evergreen 13 year-old pacer Johnny Redcoat showed age is only a number, taking out his 19th victory on Tuesday night.

Driver Jackie Barker was able to claim victory for her grandfather Jim.

With the new racing calendar starting on July 1, the day will also mark the next meeting at Terang.
