Success for Sharp sisters
SHARP sisters Jackenzie and Summer have performed remarkably well at the recent School Sports Victoria (SSV) state swimming championships.
Summer and Jackenzie Sharp celebrate after the state swimming championships.
The two Terang College students put in strong performances at the event, held at MSAC in Melbourne last Friday.
They both qualified to compete at the championships after success at the Greater Western Region championships in Horsham last term.
Summer, a year five student, finished with gold in the 11 year-old girls 50m freestyle, multi-class event, along with a bronze in the 11 year-old girls 50m backstroke, multi-class event.
Jackenzie, who is in year eight, finished 5th in the 12–14year-old women 50m freestyle multiclass event and 4th in 12–14year-old women backstroke, multi class event.
