Sunshine for golfers

TERANG Golf Club members enjoyed stroke, putting and monthly medal this week.

The weather didn’t disappoint, with 18 players competing in full winter sunshine on a course that’s in excellent condition for this time of year.

The ladies winner was Jo Arundell with 99-25-73 on a countback from Maureen Bond 105-32-73.

The men’s winner was Martin Wynd 92-18-74 from Nick Marshall 93-14-79.

Balls down the line went to Margie Driscoll nett 74, Marion Venn 77, Elaine Hrabar 80 on a countback from Jenny Meade and Colin Venn.

Nearest the pins: 11th Margie Driscoll and 18th from off the green Janet Saunders.

Colin Venn and Jo Arundell were shared winners of the putting with 28 putts, while Jo also won the monthly medal.
