LOCAL South West Health (SWH) staff will be able to enjoy a free coffee thanks to a donation.
The combined Rotary Clubs ofWarrnambool generously donated $6000 of coffee cards for South West Healthcare
(SWH) staff to use at a range of cafes to thank them for their work during the pandemic.
SWH Camperdown campus acting manager Rachael Lee said SWH has matched the donation to ensure its entire workforce across all of its campuses, in Camperdown, Lismore, Warrnambool, Macarthur, Portland and Hamilton, were recognised.
“This kind gesture is a very welcome thank you and morale booster for our staff who have worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic to meet the needs of our community,” she said.
“They’ve frequently given up family time and planned breaks without question in order to keep our community safe.
“The Rotary Clubs’ motivation for doing this reminds us that our community, in return, truly appreciates what we do and is here to support us.”
