Swayn, who has led the Magpies since 2019, recently informed club president Phil Cunningham this season would be his last at the helm.

“I just felt it was the right time to step away and allow the club to be proactive in planning ahead,” Swayn said.

Swayn’s leadership has proven instrumental to the club, particularly throughout the COVID period.

He has played an integral role in the development of the club’s footballers and has built a great rapport with players, members and supporters.

“Neville has done a fantastic job as our senior coach, leading us for the past six years, and has always put the club first,” Cunningham said.

“We will now cast a wide net for his replacement and will put out expressions of interest over the next few weeks.”
