TIMBOON widows of the Warrnambool Legacy Clubgathered to share lunch with Timboon Aberlea residents and community members recently.
Legatee Sam Pope and Genevieve Hand said the Legacy widows were pleased the Timboon Aberlea facility had beenmade available.
Attendees enjoyed a lunch of homemade soup, sandwhiches and sweets and conversation among each other.
The women said as communities re-emerge from protractedisolation, the value of friendly social contact cannot be under estimated.
“On behalf of the Timboon Legacy Ladies, I would sincerely thank Aberlea Timboon chairman Martin van de Wouw, committee members Enid O’Connor and Kathy Brown for their generous assistance and great camaraderie in making our day so successful,” they said.
