‘Team of the Year’ named
COBDEN footballer Paul Pekin has been named in the Hampden League’s 2022 Team of the Year.
COBDEN footballer Paul Pekin has been named in the Hampden League’s 2022 Team of the Year.
The team was announced via livestream to clubs during last weekend’s annual vote count and presentations.
Koroit’s Chris McLaren was named coach, North Warrnambool Eagles’ Troy Shiells runner and Mick Lowther as umpire.
The team comprised the following:
B: Harry Lee (South Warrnambool), Tim McPherson (Koroit) and Josh Jenner (Portland).
HB: Bailey Jenkinson (North Warrnambool Eagles), Jack O’Sullivan (Koroit) and Luke Wines (North Warrnambool Eagles).
C: Alex Pulling (Koroit), Daniel Jackson (captain, Portland) and Jett Bermingham (North Warrnambool Eagles).
HF: Paddy O’Sullivan (Koroit), Sam Dobson (Koroit) and Paul Pekin (Cobden).
FF: Jye Turland (Warrnambool), Tom Sharp (Portland) and Shannon Beks (South Warrnambool).
