TEDDY bears of all shapes, sizes and colours – along with their owners – attended a picnic recently.
The Camperdown Lions Club organised event was held earlier this month.
Camperdown Lions Club member Judi Oakes said the day was a success.
“It was fabulous,” she said.
“We didn’t get the crowd we were hoping for; but the ones that turned up had a ball.
“Everyone was pretty happy with the day.”
Corangamite Shire, Wannon Water and the Cobden and Camperdown Community Bank supported the day.
The event – which was dubbed a Teddy Bear’s Picnic – was held as part of a COVID recovery celebration.
Mrs Oakes said the club was pleased with the day.
“We handed out showbags,” she said.
“Even the grown-ups brought in a teddy.”
