MARK’S Battlers currently head the Terang table tennis ladder.

This week they have the bye and will likely be joined on the same points by Tony’s Terriers and Pat’s Players.

It looks like Callum’s Road and Murphy’s Law will battle it out for fourth spot.

Pat’s Players narrowly defeated Callum’s Road 6-5.

The match that decided the outcome was between Ganga Aryal and Michael Pearson, with Ganga winning 11-9, 13-11, 9-11 and 11-7.

Ganga, Pat Nicholson and Akash K.C. all won two singles.

Callum McSween was the dominate player in his team, winning all his singles and both doubles.

Mark’s Battlers were too strong for TTMI2 winning 9-2.

Mark Smith and Vesha Chapagai both won all their singles with John Rantall winning one singles match.

The three teamed together to win all the doubles games.

Both Phillip Walters and SambadBidari won their first singles match for the season for TTMI2.

Murphy’s Law had a good hit out against TTMI1 winning 11-0.

The TTMI1 players are showing improvement, pushing their opponents into fourth and fifth games.

Harrison Smith, Colin Venn and Dan Galea won all their matches.

Ladder after round five: Mark’s Battlers 16, Tony’s Terriers 12, Pat’s Players 12, Murphy’s Law 8, Callum’s Road 8; TTMI1 4, TTMI2 0.
