IT was a tough day at the crease for Woorndoo’s cricketers last weekend.
Despite a valiant effort from Tom Gray (33) and Brody Mifsud (30), the Tigers struggled with the bat and could only manage 138 while Pomborneit went on to score 10/239.
Best of the bowlers for the Tigers were Grant Cameron 3/13 off 10 and Josh Mahncke 2/33 off seven.
Division three also saw a similar result for the Tigers, going down to Boorcan by six wickets.
Woorndoo finished the day with just 43 runs on the board, with opener Jake Fowler the only batsman to reach double figures with 15.
Best of the bowlers for the Tigers was Damian Clifford with 2/6 from six overs.
Boorcan reached 4/144.
