IT was a tough day out for Woorndoo cricketers when they faced the might of Pomborneit last weekend.

IT was a tough day out for Woorndoo cricketers when they faced the might of Pomborneit last weekend.

The Tigers, up against the in-form Bulls, managed 9/115, falling more than 100 runs short of the Bulls’ 9/217cc.

Jason Fowler 34, Tyler Schafer 27, Jake Fowler 16 and Nelson Loader 14 were the best for the Tigers while Issac Fowler finished the day with 4/36 off 10 overs, well supported by father Jason 3/24 off six.

In what proved to be a tough round for the Tigers, Woorndoo’s division three team finished on 9/82cc, going down to Bookaar 8/137cc.

Best with the bat for the Tigers were Byron Loader 17, Keilan Webster-Bamford 17 and Cory Jennkins 13.

Best of the bowlers were Rhys Casson 2/19 off seven overs and new-comer Cory Jenkins 2/8 off four.
