The Tigers registered its first win of the season when it recorded a 47 run win over Terang at Woorndoo Recreation Reserve.
Tigers skipper Grant Cameron won the toss and elected to bat, with the home side posting 9/200 from its 50 overs.
Cameron led the runscorers, with the hard-hitting batter notching up 71 at first drop.
Recruit Tyler Schafer made 40 in his first game at the club, while Jacob Gray (26) and Tom Gray (24) both produced handy cameos.
Ex-Terang skipper Sam Munro was the pick of the bowlers with 4/22, while Tim Keane chipped in with 2/40.
In reply, Tyson Hay (41), Tyson Royal (40) and Munro (28) helped the Goats to 153 before they were dismissed in the 44th over.
Issac Fowler (4/35) and Jake Fowler (2/15) both took multiple wickets, while four others took one apiece.
At Mortlake, contributions from Isaac Wareham (58), Neil Kelly (40), Jack Lehmann (36 not out), Jimmy Tarbolton (33), Clinton Baker (3/25), Todd Lamont (2/22) and Lachie Higginson (2/23) helped the Cats to a 73 run win over Cobden.
Mortlake posted 7/233 from its 50 overs before restricting the Knights to 9/160.
Elsewhere, Tim Fitzgerald (58), Charlie Lucas (3/14) and Louis Darcy (3/14) led Bookaar to a comfortable win over Camperdown.
The Pelicans posted 7/153 from its allotted overs, with the Lakers dismissed for just 48 in reply.
A Josh Place-inspired Pomborneit also started its campaign on a winning note, with the Bulls downing the Heytesbury Rebels by 11 runs.
Place made 32 in the Bulls total of 141 before he claimed 3/26, including the key wickets of Simon Harkness and Travis Brown, to help dismiss the Rebels for 130.
In this weekend’s matches, Mortlake hosts Camperdown at D.C. Farran Oval, Pomborneit welcomes Woorndoo to Pomborneit Recreation Reserve and Cobden takes on Heytesbury Rebels at Cobden Recreation Reserve.
Terang and Noorat clash at the Terang Cricket Ground in a game which marks the Goats 20th year since installing the turf.
