Local produce: Local artisans will be joining forces this weekend at the Timboon Artisan Festival.

FINE food and beverage lovers are in for a treat as the Timboon Artisan Festival returns to Timboon this weekend.

The event, run by the 12 Apostles Food Artisans, brings together the 12 artisan small businesses that make up the group, and the Gourmet Trail, to the one location.

Josh Walker, one of the artisans and owner of the Timboon Railway Shed Distillery and ABeckett’s Creek Beef said the festival is a great opportunity for visitors to easily sample all the region has to offer.

“To do the Gourmet Trail it takes around five hours, but this event gives people the chance to enjoy something from each business in the one place, with a great atmosphere underneath the gumtrees in the Timboon Amphitheatre,” he said.

“We invite everyone to come along and experience the Artisan specialties we have to offer.”

On Saturday, from 11am to 4pm, all the Artisans will be set up to delight visitors with their goods at the Timboon Amphitheatre.

The event is free to attend, with live demonstrations, kids’ entertainment, live music and more.
