Timboon parkrun celebrates
TIMBOON parkrun celebrated a special milestone over the weekend – its sixth birthday.

TIMBOON parkrun celebrated a special milestone over the weekend – its sixth birthday.
To celebrate the occasion, participants were asked to dress up in their pyjama’s for their run, jog or walk along the rail trail.
Timboon parkrun event director Kate Makin thanked all those involved in the special day.
“Parkrun was a fun day with people getting into the spirit of dressing up,” she said.
“I would like to thank all the volunteers who have put their hands up during the past six years because this event wouldn’t be possible without the support of the community and volunteers.
“We had visitors from Queensland and they said it was a very enjoyable and fun parkrun to attend.”
To register for parkrun, which is a free weekly timed event, visit www.parkrun.com.au.
Timboon parkrun begins at 8am sharp, with event briefing from 7.50am at the Timboon playground.
