Toe tapping fun at Red Hill Hall

THERE will be good toe-tapping fun for the whole family at the Red Hill Public Hall this weekend.

By wd-news

On Saturday, Music On The Hill will make a return with an afternoon of music on offer.

Red Hill Public Hall secretary Sharyn Finlayson encouraged the community to support the event which doubles as a fundraiser for the hall.

“We’re still trying to raise funds to upgrade our toilets,” she said.

“We want to have all abilities toilets and we are looking at relocating them to another part of the hall.”

Music On The Hill will kick off at 12noon and run through until 5pm at the Red Hill Hall at 805 Lavers Hill-Cobden Road.

Attendees will be kept entertained through the afternoon with Rockit and Level Up performing.

The Cobden Rotary Club will be putting on a barbecue and there will be a coffee van available.

Mrs Finlayson encouraged attendees to head along and enjoy the afternoon.

“We are very excited,” she said.

“We did the same thing last year. We’re hoping for better weather this year.

“It’s a very chill day. Bring your chairs, picnic rugs, nibbles and drinks and enjoy the afternoon.”

Mrs Finlayson said the event is open to the whole family.

“It’s a family friendly day,” she said.

“There’s plenty of parking on-site.

“We’ve got lots of raffles on the day as well.

“Thank you to all of our sponsors and raffle prize donors.”

Tickets to the fundraising event are $20 per adult, a gold coin donation for 12 plus and children under 12 are free.
