TOPS funds available
TIMBOON and district organisations have been reminded to get their applications in for funding from the Timboon Opportunity Shop (TOPS).
TIMBOON and district organisations have been reminded to get their applications in for funding from the Timboon Opportunity Shop (TOPS).
TOPS co-ordinator Brenda Parfett said applications were open to local organisations, sporting clubs and show societies in need of finance.
“Over the years TOPS has helped many local projects thanks to the work of volunteers who sort the goods that people donate to us and prepare them for sale as in pricing, and placing in shop or if a big item maybe available in the shed,” she said.
“We are fortunate to have a volunteer Chris who can post it on Facebook every week so check out our site for the latest goods that are available for sale.
“We have toys, games, school wear, sewing needs as in patterns, knitting needles, wool, manchester, linen, cushions, table cloths, books fiction and biographies, every subject and author.
“Our shed has many and varied pieces of furniture, worth checking out.”
