Tough day for Cats
MORTLAKE’S women cricketers found the going tough against Nestles last weekend.
Winning the toss and electing to bat first at Reid Oval on Saturday night, the Cats found themselves at 7/53 after 25 overs.
Captain Shae De Francesco was the only player to reach double figures, caught on 16.
In reply Nestles reached 6/160.
Best of the bowlers for Mortlake was youngster Holly Jones who finished the game with figures of 2/23 from three overs.
Sister Sommer also bowled well, taking 1/16 off her three.
