WARRNAMBOOL is gearing up to host yet another May Racing Carnival.

WARRNAMBOOL is gearing up to host yet another May Racing Carnival.
The three-day event will see the town come alive next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
The TAB Warrnambool May Racing Carnival is one of Australia’s hallmark country racing events, produced by the Warrnambool Racing Club.
Since its inception, the event continues to attract thousands of racing enthusiasts keen to view Australasia’s premier jumps horses and to be inspired by autumn race fashions – all the while enjoying country hospitality.
The carnival is a celebration of country racing, offering 23 flat races and seven jumps races including the internationally acclaimed Grand Annual Steeplechase (first held in 1872).
With all marquee and dining packages now sold out, and only general admission tickets still available, organisers are confident huge crowds will once again flock to the track to witness what will no doubt be quality fields across all races.
Fashionistas of all ages will again make a notable presence trackside on Thursday, with entries in the Miss Kit Fashions on the Field again expected to be one of the highlights of the carnival.
With five race wear categories and some fantastic prizes to be won, it’s no wonder the carnival attracts entries from across the state.
Entries will be accepted online until 12noon next Monday, or at the track on Thursday between 10am-11.30am. All entrants must be 18 years and older.
