Treasures nabbed in Darlington sale
THE Darlington community came together over the weekend and held a town-wide garage sale.

THE Darlington community came together over the weekend and held a town-wide garage sale.
Beginning at 8am, people had the opportunity to chat with their neighbours while browsing through clothing, furniture, bric-a-brac, tools and more.
The CFA also held a sausage size throughout the day, and kids could get their faces painted.
Around seven households participated in the day.
Organiser Ange McQuade said the garage sale idea began during the COVID lockdowns. “We all had bits and pieces laying around that we didn’t need anymore,” she said.
“We were a bit unsure of what the weather was going to do, so there were some people that didn’t participate, but overall we’ve had a good response.”
