TRIVIA buffs put their knowledge to work for a good cause.
The combined Rotary clubs from Terang, Camperdown, Cobden and Colac held a trivia night in Terang recently with all funds going to the New South Wales flood victims program.
Cobden Rotary Club’s Gary Kimber said around 100 people attended the night with lots of “laughter, banter and wisdom”.
He said the quiz was produced and presented by Camperdown Rotarian Graeme Fischer.
“The quiz had very much an Australian theme and the Terang Rotary Club is to be congratulated for organising this,” Mr Kimber said.
“All funds will be sent to the Rotary Club of Lismore for immediate use."
“It is interesting to note that they are providing 100 meals for flood affected people every night.”
Mr Kimber said two special donations were made on the night, with the Terang Community Op Shop donating $2000 and Cobden’s Friends of Rotary donating a further $500.
“If anyone wishes to donate to this cause please contact any of the Rotary clubs,” he said.
