Two teachers mark 30 years
SAINT Patrick’s Primary School marked a significant milestone for two of its teachers last week.
Teachers Marie Wall and Kellie Lee marked 30 years of teaching with a special dinner in Ballarat last Friday, receiving certificates to commemorate their dedication.
They were among 34 Diocese of Ballarat Catholic Education Limited staff who marked the occasion.
St Pat’s principal Tim Bourke said Ms Wall and Ms Lee were recognised for their commitment to Catholic Education and the “commitment to Catholic Education and the influence that they have had on generations of students”.
“Marie and Kellie are long standing and respected members of our staff who go above and beyond for students in their care,” he said.
“Kellie and Marie both demonstrate our motto of ‘Deeds Not Words Only’ each day.
“We also celebrate the contribution of Janet Cain who was a long serving member of our staff, who was also awarded recognition of her 30 years of service to Catholic Education.”
