LAST Saturday’s stableford round at the Mortlake golf course was won by Richard van Diemen (18) 36 points.
LAST Saturday’s stableford round at the Mortlake golf course was won by Richard van Diemen (18) 36 points.
Van Diemen won on countback from runner-up Kevin Etherton (11) 36 points while Jordan Wareham (22) 34 points was third.
Nearest the pins: 3/12 Todd Lamont, 6/15 Steve Hubbard and 9/18 Ben Boers.
Balls went down the line to Kevin Etherton, Jordan Wareham and Peter Palmer.
Knockout matches were played.
Richard van Diemen defeated Steve Hubbard 4/3, Wes Wareham defeated Peter Palmer 1up and Merv Hampson defeated Alistair Clarke 1up.
The remaining matches will be completed by next Saturday, July 15.
The vets’ day last Wednesday, July 5, saw joint winners, Bruce Twaddle (22) and Peter Palmer (10) with nett 45s.

Joint runners-up were Bruce Twaddle(18) and Garry Whitehead (19) with nett 48s.
