Venn continues good form
TWELVE players competed in a par round at the Terang golf course last Thursday morning.
Marion Venn continued her recent excellent form to take out the competition with +1 on a countback from Janet Saunders who has also maintained her good form from the championships.
Balls down the line went to Nick Marshall -1 and Jo Arundell -1.
Nearest the pins: 3rd Billy Wood and 18th from off the green Janet Saunders.
Winner of the afternoon stableford competition was Billy Wood with 38 points followed by runner-up Chris Salisbury on 35.
Next week’s competition will be stableford, silverspoon one and the first round of Marion Brophy.
