AFTER three wash-outs, Pomborneit Cricket Club’s under 14 side has enjoyed victory in its first game of the season.

AFTER three wash-outs, Pomborneit Cricket Club’s under 14 side has enjoyed victory in its first game of the season.
The side will this year play in the Colac District Cricket Association, in addition to the club’s two under 13 boys’ teams and under 16 boys team in the South West competition.
The 14s were thrilled to finally get on to the ground last Friday night, taking home victory over Irrewarra Black at the Colac hockey ground.
Final scores were Pomborneit 6/140 defeated Irrewarra Black 6/99.
Best with the bat for the Bulls were Levi Coote 33 retired, Fletcher Tolland 24 retired, Josh Reynolds 15 retired, George Sadler 9 and Max Rees 8 retired.
Among the best bowlers for the team were Fletcher Tolland 2/4, Dermot Conheady 1/7, Harry Jenkins 1/7 and Jonty Raven 1/1.
