IF round nine matches are any indication, finals night of Corangamite volleyball will be worth watching.
In A grade, second and third teams NOBTS and Bulls played a thrilling high-standard 1-1 draw, with a tied third set, while top and fourth teams Poachers and Stallions did similar.
The first two games were won by Stallions and the next two games went to Poachers, resulting in a 2-2 draw.
Two of the three B grade teams played one another and the result was also a 2-2 draw.
Slugs and Ballbusters are likely to play again in the final so it should be another close one.
The four A grade teams are rated highly and closely.
On their night, any of the teams have the games to win the winter competition.
New team Rascals showed their improvement in the last round, taking sets off top team Poachers and the steady Slugs.
Round nine results:
Poachers def. Rascals 3-1, Bulls def. Stallions 3-0, Slugs def. Rascals 4-1, Bulls drew NOBTS 2-2, NOBTS def Ballbusters 2-1 and Poachers drew Stallions 2-2.
