TALENTED Cobden cricketer Campbell Walsh has been named in the Western Waves’ under 16 boys’ Country Cup squad.
The 13-member squad will compete in Hamilton on December 11, with Country Cup tournaments to also take place in Albury/Wodonga.
Finals will take place in Melbourne on Friday, December 22.
The Western Waves squad will be coached by John Houston and will comprise the following players:
Campbell Walsh (Cobden); Harry Austin (College Cricket Club); Connor Brisbane, Mack Mills and Lachlan Rea (Allansford-Panmure); Brock Gannon (West Warrnambool); Charlie James and Toby
Madden (Merrivale); Gavin Reynolds (Pomborneit); Isaac Shaw (Hamilton), Archer Virtanen (Mil Lel), Tighe Warburton (South Portland) and Mortlake’s Joshua Slater.
