COBDEN Primary School’s acting principal Jarod Bacon has received a warm welcome from the school.
He began the role at the start of term three and will continue through the remainder of the school year.
Mr Bacon said he was enjoying the role.
“It’s great,” he said.
“It’s a great group of staff, students and the school community has been lovely.”
Mr Bacon comes to the role from Currawa Primary School, a small rural school in north east Victoria.
“It’s a bigger school here, but a similar role,” he said.
“It’s been really good.”
Looking ahead to the remainder of the year, Mr Bacon said he would be looking to continue the strong programs already in place.
“It’s just continuing to deliver the really outstanding results Cobden has had and continue to build on all the fantastic things that are here,” he said.
“We want all local families to look forward to sending their children here.”
