WITH 300,000 social media followers around the world, Simon Kuestenmacher is an expert of what makes societies thrive.
Corangamite Shire residents can have breakfast and hear Mr Kuestenmacher’s insights into people, society, consumer behaviour and culture.
Mayor Ruth Gstrein invited community members and business operators to book early because seats are limited.
“Simon is the co-founder of The Demographics Group alongside Terang export Bernard Salt AM,” she said.
“He writes for The Australian and The New Daily newspapers and is a quirky and engaging speaker who backs his opinions with data and evidence.
“Reaching over 25 million people every month, he is one of the world’s top 10 influencers in turning complex data into easy-to-understand pictures.
“I invite everyone who is interested in the future of our shire to come along and find out what global trends are likely to affect our society, economy and culture in coming years.”
Cr Gstrein said it is an opportunity to learn what to plan for so “we can stay ahead of the game”.
The breakfast will be followed by the second Grow and Prosper Corangamite workshop.
“This session will gather input from business, industry and community to help create the 10-year Grow and Prosper plan,” Cr Gstrein said
“This is a co-design process which means everyone in the shire can have a say on how we plan for growth in economic development, tourism, arts, culture, events and festivals.”
The breakfast will be held on Wednesday, December 7 at the Port Campbell Surf Life Saving Club between 7.30am and 9.30am.
Tickets are $15 and can be booked via BreakfastWithSimon.eventbrite.com.au
