Win for Wareham

JORDAN Wareham finished on 39 points to take the June stableford event at Mortlake Golf Club last weekend.

Wareham won the event from runner-up Slade Palmer on 35 points.

Third place went to Richard Van Diemen on 34 points.

Nearest the pins: 6/15 Dougal Ranken, 9/18 Slade Palmer.

Balls down the line: Richard van Diemen (34), Garry Shalders (33), Les Dawson (32), Merv Hampsen (31) and Kurt Robertson (31).

Next week’s event will be three-person ambrose.
