Windy conditions for golf

DESPITE the windy conditions, 12 players competed in a stableford event at the Terang Golf Club last Thursday.

Margie Driscoll won the women’s event with 36 points, followed by Elaine Hrabar on 31.

The men’s winner was Ethan Wyss on 35 points, on a countback from Chris Coolahan on 35.

Balls down the line went to Terry Beasley 32 points and Nick Marshall 32 points.

Nearest the pins: 3rd Cate Glennon and 18th from off the green, Elaine Hrabar.

Next week will be stablefordd and the monthly medal round eight.
