Winners are grinners
THE Timboon golf ladies have enjoyed some success around the state with various tournaments and Pennant.
The Pharmacy Day Stableford round winner was Judith Wallace (30 handicap) 32 points, with Judy Walsh (13 handicap) the runner up on 31 points.
Ball down the line went to Steph Delaney (33 handicap) 30 points.
Nearest the pins on the 10th (second shot) was Alison Walsh, on the 14th (second shot) was Andrea Thompson and the Nutrien Ball on the 13th was Judith Wallace.
Congratulations to Vera Convey who was runner up, on a count back, in Division one, in the individual Stableford at Lake Bolac Cup on May 17th.
Congratulations to Steph Delaney and Susanne Wallace, who had 48 points and were runners up in the Warrnambool Golf Club Amenities Day 4BBB on 15th May.
Congratulations to Judy Walsh who was runner up, with scores of 34 and 35, in the two day Individual Stableford event during the Yarrawonga May tournament.
On Monday May 20, the Timboon ladies Pennant side travelled to Portland and won the Division one Pennant 4/1 against Terang.

June Ayres and daughter, Donna Weller who were the Division one nett winners in the WDGA Foursomes tournament, held at Peterborough on Friday, May 24. They had 79 strokes for a nett score of 63.5.
The overall winners for the WDGA Foursomes event were Vera Convey and Lynne Newton, who had the best stroke score of 78.
