There will be five sides in the Deakin University under 18 competition - South Warrnambool, Terang Mortlake, Portland Tigers, Cavendish and Horsham.
The under 15 competition will welcome a new side this season, with the Koroit Football Netball Club fielding their first team in the WVFFL.
Joining them in the junior grade will be South Warrnambool, Portland Tigers, Hamilton Kangaroos, North Warrnambool Eagles and Port Fairy.
There will be three byes throughout the season.
These will be held on May 12, June 16 and July 7.
League administrator Trent Hill said there was real excitement for this year’s WVFFL competition.
“It is terrific to see Cavendish create another team and play in the senior competition and Koroit is extremely upbeat about its under 15 debut,” Hill said.
“I’m expecting a really competitive 2024 season across all grades and hopefully the female football brand can keep building in the region.”
