Young Demons shine

TIMBOON’S 13 and under football and netball sides remain in the finals race in the Warrnambool and District League.

The young 13 and under netballers defeated Allansford 27-23 in an exciting semi-final last Saturday, earning themselves a place in the grand final to be played on Saturday, September 7.

The Demons’ under 13 footballers went down to Russells Creek 2.0.12 to 4.4.28 in last Saturday’s qualifying final.

They will now face Dennington in this Saturday’s preliminary final.

Best for the side last Saturday were Leonardo Bickell, William Plozza, Alby Jones, Dallas Blain, Eli Kerr and Kaspar Hendrix.

Timboon’s 15 and under netballers lost to Allansford 14-15 in last Sunday’s semi-final, ending their finals campaign for season 2024.
