CAMPERDOWN junior footballer Lenny Stephens has been selected in the Greater Western Victoria Rebels side for the V/Line Cup.

Stephens will line up alongside team-mates for the V/Line Cup in Shepparton next week.

The Cup is a pathway for aspiring footballers to progress onto higher level talent programs including the Coates Talent League.

During the three-day carnival, the side will face Goulburn Murray on Monday and Bendigo Pioneers on Tuesday.

It is anticipated the event will attract around 600 of the best under 15 footballers from across regional Victoria.

The Cup comprises three divisions, two boys’ divisions and a girls’ division, and features representative teams from seven regions, playing a total of 21 matches.

Each team will contest two matches over the three days, with games to be played at Deakin Reserve, Princes Park Reserve and Mooroopna Recreation Reserve.

All matches will be live streamed free via AFL Victoria’s streaming platform, aflvic.tv.

This year teams will be representing Barwon, Bendigo, Gippsland, Goulburn Murray, Greater Western Victoria, North East Border and South East.
